We have been very busy, but are also having a lot of fun settling into third class.

We have already done a lot of work on healthy eating and as part of our project we have even been able to make our own pizzas using our new healthy recipe!

This is a project we carried out in class to show the world as a global village with just 100 people. We used data to show the information visually.

Ready, Steady...READ!

The Readathon is well underway! We are very busy reading books for the annual school readthon. We also attended a very enjoyable workshop with the author Debbie Thomas. One of our favourite readathon activities is Buddy Reading with the Senior Infants from Room 5 which as you can see from below is great fun.

Our Project and Art Work

We learned all about Fionn and the Fianna in History. We made scrolls and wrote about a day in the life of a Fianna Warrior at the time.

Baking Lesson We baked biscuits in two flavours - lemon or cinnamon. It was great fun and they tasted good too!
Mixing some of the ingredients (butter and sugar) together.	Adding the egg.
