We had so much fun on our school tour. We visited Marley Park and Imaginosity. We all had a super time!

We had lots of fun practising our Irish dancing, during Seachtain na Gaeilge. Laura, the Irish dancing teacher showed us all some easy dances to try out!
We went shopping in Maths class! We role-played being the shopkeeper and customer. It gave us all lots of practice at calculating the correct amounts for different items. We had a go at giving back change too!
We were learning about different forms of media. We decided to write advertisements for our super rockets that we made. They turned out really well!
We had lots of fun playing Maths games and completing jigsaws on Maths Fun Day! We also used the trundle wheel to estimate and measure the lengths of different areas of the school, with Mr. Murphy.

We had buddy Reading each week, during the Readathon. We partnered up with room 19 and really enjoyed reading and sharing books together.
During Science class another day, we had lots of fun exploring static electricity. We used balloons and experimented with moving different materials in the classroom. We charged the balloons by rubbing them on our jumpers, carpet and our hair!
For Science one day, we enjoyed exploring magnets. We played games with them also!
We had fun dressing up for our Carol Service!

We had fun exploring how air can move objects. We blew through a straw to see if we could make different objects move. We first predicted the results and then recorded them.
We used geoboards and rubber bands in Maths class one week, to explore making different 2-D shapes.
Playing Maths games was lots of fun, on Maths Fun Day!
We designed our own witch and wizard hats using pastels, chalk and glitter! It was fun dressing up too!
