To mark this milestone, we are launching a major sustainability initiative; the installation of a significant solar panel system that will transform our school into a cleaner, greener, more environmentally responsible space for our children.

AboutThis project is about more than reducing costs. It is about:
Having completed a detailed energy consumption analysis, we have identified substantial potential across our available south facing roof space for solar generation. This investment will allow Scoil Mochua to generate the majority of its own clean energy, significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and contribute positively to Ireland’s climate goals. By producing renewable energy onsite, and feeding surplus power back into the grid during quieter summer months, the school will become part of the solution. |
