meeting an author
As part of our World Book Day and Readathon celebrations we got to meet the author Emma-Jane Leeson. We really enjoyed listening to Emma-Jane reading some of her stories about Johnny Magory from the series The Adventures of Johnny Magory. We learnt lots of interesting facts about Irish wildlife and landscape, she even brought us in some turf from the bog!
Let it snow!
Room 7 had fun playing in the snow.
Christmas jumper day
We enjoyed wearing our Christmas jumpers to school! Thanks to 5th class for helping us in the Santa Dash!
The children have been combining their coding skills with their mental maths in this game during maths stations. They roll 3 dice, add the numbers together and then programme their Beebot to travel to the correct answer. This activity requires the use of many skills and problem solving strategies to be successful!
We are artists
We loved visiting the Science Fair. We saw lots of our brothers and sisters. We had great fun!
We recorded our very own Voxpop in room 7. The question was "What do you know about Jesus?" Check out our answers!
We enjoyed playing different Maths games during Maths Week!
