While we were all resting and enjoying our summer holidays, Intel were very busy installing solar panels on the roofs of the schools in Celbridge! We are delighted that the launch for this initiative will be held in our school on October 4th and all of the schools in Celbridge have been invited to attend.

We will be represented at the event by our Student Council. All classes from 3rd - 6th are working hard to create a winning piece of work to be presented at the launch and we cannot wait to see what the children come up with.

We are delighted that Professor John Sweeney, Maynooth University and Hugh Hardiman from Intel will be in attendance on the day.

When you visit out school, don't forget to check out the monitor in the foyer that shows how much energy we produce each day. Our panels are capable of producing 5000kWh per year!
