welcome to 3rd class

lIGHT

We investigated materials to see which ones were transparent, translucent or opaque. We had some fun with shadow puppets when the work was done!

3d skeleton shapes

We had great fun learning about the properties of 3D shapes by making these skeleton shapes out of Blu-Tack and matchsticks!

Room 11 were very busy building 3D shapes. They look good enough to eat!

Science week 2020

BUBBLES, GAS AND BALLOONS
We had a lot of fun with Science Week in 3rd class. The chemical reaction in this experiment released enough carbon dioxide to inflate balloons.

Even our dress up characters love to read!

Spooky Halloween Houses

Houses were done in black/yellow oil pastels and background was achieved by colour mixing (paint) and using the crayon resist technique!

The children enjoyed some outdoor reading in Paul's Garden.

Room 11 made the most of the autumnal sunshine and visited the school garden. So many gorgeous plants, fruit and vegetables growing. Our school gardener, Tom is just amazing at what he does. We're so lucky to have this garden in our school!
