Today in room 19 we started to use the school netbooks. We are using dkfindout.com to research facts for report writing.

We are learning about fractions! We are looking at a range of fractions ranging from halves to twelfths. We are also learning hot to convert fractions into other forms and how to add, subtract and multiply fractions. Here are some ways to support learning about fractions at home:

We really enjoyed visiting the book fair!
SCHOOL GARDEN
Tom is teaching us lots of interesting facts about gardening. We have lots of different fruits and vegetables growing in our school garden such as raspberries, peas, corn, cabbage, kale and more! We even got to plant our own garlic. We also have a biodiversity garden to provide habitats for key species in our environment.
Cycle safety training course
Today we practised our cycling skills. We covered stopping and starting, road positioning and overtaking! We can wait to do it again next week.
